Amanda LaPointe, PA-C

Amanda LaPointe, PA-C, earned her B.S. degree in Psychology from Worcester State College, and earned her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Allied Health Sciences. After graduation, Amanda worked as a Physician Assistant at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology for two years. Amanda recently moved to California and joined San Jose Gastroenterology in August 2009.

Amanda is a member of GIPA (Gastroenterology Physician Assistants), AAPA (American Academy of Physician Assistants), ACG (American College of Gastroenterology), and AGA (American Gastroenterology Association). Her interests include peptic ulcer disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and pancreatic disease.
