Brian Saul Levitt, M.D.

Dr. Brian S. Levitt graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. degree in Psychology from University of Pennsylvania and went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. After his residency in internal medicine at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell Medical Center, he completed his Gastroenterology fellowship training at Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College at Medicine in New York.

As a Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Levitt is extensively trained in all aspects of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. His interests include diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy/colonoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, and viral hepatitis.  He is also proficient in Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).

Dr. Levitt joined San Jose Gastroenterology in July 2007.
