Hemorrhoid Theraphy: Infrared Coagulation (IRC)

Infrared Coagulation (IRC) is a non-surgical method to treat hemorrhoids.

The procedure is done by placing a small probe above the hemorrhoid. Then, small bursts of infared light are emitted. This energy coagulates the blood vessels that feed the hemorrhoids, which improves symptoms of bleeding.
