San Jose Gastroenterology is pleased to welcome Dr. Angela Hsu to our growing team. Dr. Hsu will start seeing patients at San Jose Gastroenterology on September 5, 2023.
Dr. Hsu is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. She obtained her medical degree from University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of California Irvine.
Dr. Hsu has special interest in endoscopy, colonoscopy, and inflammatory bowel disease. She has authored multiple articles in peerreviewed journals and presented at the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and American Gastro Association (AGA) Digestive Disease Week. She holds research awards for the UC Irvine GI fellowship graduating class of 2023 and an ACG 2021 presidential award for AI-assisted colonoscopy research.
Dr. Hsu is a Bay Area native born in Mountain View, California and attended UC Berkeley as an undergraduate. She is excited to return to her hometown in the Bay Area. In her free time, Dr. Hsu enjoys spending time rock climbing, running, cooking, and traveling.
